Job Description Maintains frequent customer contact: Regularly engages with customers to build and strengthen relationships, assess effectiveness in meeting their needs, and maximize account penetration and retention.

Advocates for both the company and the customer by creating mutual value and balancing the needs and constraints of both parties.

Stays informed of customer needs: Keeps up-to-date with customer requirements and key buying factors, using this knowledge to pursue profitable opportunities for current or future products and adjust account plans as necessary.

Collaborates with key functions: Works with Pricing, Product Line Management, and other relevant teams to negotiate favorable agreements with customers.

Proactively manages contract terms: Ensures clear execution of contract terms and aligns customer expectations with the company's delivery capabilities.

Coordinates cross-functional services: Oversees account services across various functions (e.g., Applications Engineering, Customer Service, Systems Engineering, Technical Management) to provide a unified and seamless customer experience.

Gathers and shares intelligence: Collects insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and shares this information to inform sales, marketing, technical strategies, and demand forecasting.

Informs sales forecasting and inventory management: Collects and analyzes sales data within the account to support short-term and long-term sales forecasts and inventory management efforts.

The Successful Applicant Builds rapport with diverse individuals: Relates to people from various backgrounds by identifying common interests and topics to foster connections.

Demonstrates excellent presentation skills: Required to effectively communicate ideas and information.

Aligns activities with organizational goals: Organizes day-to-day tasks around broader objectives, prioritizes resources based on strategic goals, and recognizes and rewards contributions that support the organization's needs.

Employs effective negotiating strategies: Utilizes tactics to reach mutually beneficial agreements, focuses on win-win outcomes, and clearly outlines requirements, contingencies, and timetables to guide discussions to successful completion.

Communicates goals and intentions clearly: Clearly articulates goals and beliefs, transparently conveys true intentions, and reliably follows through on commitments.
