Job Description The Customer Logistics Specialist is responsible for safeguarding the flow of information and material transfer towards the customer and external distribution centers.
Besides an explicit orientation to customer requirements the Customer Logistics Specialist has to check the plausibility of customer demands, align with interface partners for the best possible commitment in due consideration of a cost-effective use of resources, cost-optimized fulfillment and last but not least customer expectations.- Handling incoming orders and analyze customer requirements (SAP & Portals)- Ensure the availability and veracity of customer information into SAP (order change management)- To have a high level of communication with customer logistics (with respec to: increases, forecasts, new part numbers, release analysis, ordering behaviour, etc.)- Management of commercial returns, cosignment stock, inventory levels (internal/external) and follow-up of daily customer consumptions- Management of regional transport and warehouse service providers (generating outbound deliveries including mode of transportation, continuous performance measurement and improvement)- Daily follow-up of the customer shipments in coordination with transport and warehouse service providers (internal/external)- Daily follow-up of the customer requirements in coordination with the production planning team- Schedule tracking and action at delivery escalations in order to ensure material availability according to customer requirements- Actively contributing to cooperating with all others involved and with interface partners and forwarding all relevant information in order to keep themselves and others always well informed to create an optimum logistics chain and a maximum of customer satisfaction.- Project support Qualifications Professional requirements:- Graduation in economics engineering or economics or business administrative- above 4-5 years work experience in logistics (International trading, material and inventory management preferred)- familiar with ERP, MS office: advance level (SAP is a bonus)- English fluent in spoken and written Most important criteria:- Co-operation- Assertive- Ability to make decisions independently- Willingness to accept responsibility- Loyalty
