Region APC > Service APAC > Service Readiness Resource Vestas Offshore Service Readiness and Support Department, is part of the overall Offshore Service business in the APAC region, working closely with the Operational Service Team, Sales, Special Projects and Construction.
Responsible for the service site setup, support, and preparation, including long term strategic planning for the APAC offshore service regions.
Responsibilities You will be assisting with the hiring, onboarding, overseeing, training and developing a team of Service Technicians and Service Supervisors for various APAC service sites.
Within the training period you will allocate qualified and motivated competencies to service sites according to the service deliverables and project requests.
Motivate your employees and secure work-life balance, whilst implementing various projects requirements and adhering to the mandatory technical training requirements according to the country specific regulations whilst maintaining budget control.
People management, e.g., conducting regular group meetings, 1:1 meetings and preparing individual development plans.
Ensure close partnership with service teams, project management and service management to ensure fulfillment of project/service demands with correct competencies, experience and training.
Support with management-related tasks, including creating processes and procedures.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are always adhered to across the region.
After the Supervisor/Technician training period has fully been carried out to the appropriate level, ensure handover to the specific service site according to the operational service schedule.
Qualifications High leadership skills, should be able to effectively motivate and direct a team, providing clear direction and delegate tasks.
Technical expertise, should have a solid understanding of the technical and practical aspects of the team's work-Communication skills, should be able to communicate effectively with team members, management, customers and other stakeholders (Internal and External) Project management experience, should be able to manage projects, set goals and meet deadlines.
Prior experience in a similar role developing a team, preferably in the same or a related industry.
Competencies A high personal attitude and a friendly approach towards your stakeholders English language skills, verbal and written (English).
A committed and independent work style A team-oriented person with a positive and professional mind-set Experience with working across cultures and travel implications.
