The above role is responsible for product training and marketing the CVI (cardiovascular intervention) portfolio, which includes the product lifecycle (launch through phase-out), gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with all stakeholders to deliver the marketing strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS The Role: The CVI sales performs field promotional work to sell, develop and retain (new) business and high trust relationships to achieve defined implant and revenue targets and grow market share in assigned CVI territory.

May include work with current accounts or with investigational sites and customers where product acceptance has not been established.

Ensures optimum market penetration of existing BIOTRONIK products as well as for new market segments.

Attends, as a company representative, territory and regional educational and conference trade shows.

Demonstrates products/services and provides assistance.

Delivers efficient and quality technical service for BIOTRONIK products that maximizes patient outcomes and reinforces the sales messages with the customer.

Seeks proactively advice from the (Regional) Marketing Manager or Sales Manager as needed.

Executes the territory sales strategy in the field including meeting all sales targets, monitoring own performance and taking all steps reasonably necessary to meet or exceed the targets while containing costs.

Achieves monthly and annual sales performance objectives.

Keeps up to date on industry trends and research and development.

Position Profile: Actively pursues new business on a daily basis and maintains thorough territory knowledge of prospects and competitive products.

Uses best business practices to ensure success in areas of responsibility.

Customer cold calls, direct marketing.

Identifies and builds strong and lasting business relationships with all key decision makers (clinical, administrative/economic) key opinion leaders and key referrals in all accounts.

Performs all activities (in line with the sales strategy) from product introduction and presentation to contract negotiation to accomplish or exceed planned objectives as to sales volume, market penetration, and profitability.

Responds quickly to customer questions and needs and resolve customer issues.

Provide service to customers and potential customers Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, completing legal product complaint report and submitting to Bulach along with the product.

When analysis report is returned from Bulach, a follow-up meeting is held with the customer.

Maintains and acquires new product, technology, market, sales tool and process knowledge.

Ensures compliance with BIOTRONIK policies and practices.

Acquires and develops all necessary professional state-of-the-art selling skills, in accordance with the company’s personal development program.

Provides BIOTRONIK with accurate reports on sales activities and new business forecasts in the manner requested.

Identifies and prepares upcoming tenders.

Attends and participates in professional congresses and events as required.

Ensures that consignment and all other stock levels are properly controlled.

Tracks down performance and compares it to objectives on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis.

Reports all account, market and competitive information and trends and metrics in a comprehensive, complete and timely fashion.

Maintains accurate records of expenses and judiciously spends BIOTRONIK funds in the pursuit of business.
