The individual is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of all guest areas and ensures that they meet the highest standards of the hotel.
The Role 1.
Provide the highest level of guest comfort and ensure the delivery of the Capella brand, values, and vision, to create an amazing experience for our guests and team members.
2.
Responsible for the cleanliness standards of the public guest area and the back-of-house area of the hotel.
3.
Responsible for the performance of the Public Area Attendants by coordinating the daily tasks, and providing supervision, training, and guidance to ensure the highest level of cleanliness according to the hotel's standards.
4.
Maximises operational efficiency by performing timely inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies and that equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition.
5.
Ensures that the pantry is kept clean and always organized.
All cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals are properly stored, handled, and correctly labeled.
6.
Ensure all team members recognize the importance of Forbes standards to deliver excellent audit and service performance.
7.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel's daily services, activities, promotions, and events.
Effectively communicate and update all team members on any changes to ensure guests receive up-to-date information.
8.
Provides support to team members by establishing and encouraging a positive and harmonious work environment.
Mentors and offer guidance to Attendants through constructive feedback to improve performance.
9.
Addresses team members' concerns and suggests initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
10. Foster a positive working environment for all team members and check in regularly to ensure team members' satisfaction and maintain strong working relationships within the.

11. Empower team members to take ownership and responsibility in going beyond to exceed guest expectations.
Delegate responsibility and expect accountability and regular feedback.
12. Report any issues or damages and breakdowns found on the assigned floors to the coordinator.
Follow up with the work order status to ensure that the issue is resolved and update guest room status accurately.
13. Handle any service 'Glitches' and report them under the appropriate system, resolve the issue, and ensure that corrective actions and service recovery follow-ups are actioned upon on time.
14. Establishes and maintains strict compliance with workplace safety and security policies set by the hotel.
