Job Description To address the explosive growth driven by AI in Data centers and Data Infrastructure, Renesas is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business and growth opportunities in the market segment of Data Communication Infrastructure, leveraging the Power products portfolio and different technologies of Renesas in all key application from Grid to So C.
The role is based in Taiwan, as part of the worldwide Power Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities: Drive Power growth in key market segment of Data Infrastructure by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities and design-ins (DIN) for the portfolio of products, including power management ICs, discrete power devices (Si, Ga N, Si C), battery management solutions, and more.
Collaborate with the product line team to shape product roadmaps and ensure alignment with market demands.
Lead cross-selling initiatives to promote the full range of products and solutions offered by the Power Products Groups.
Work with the systems and solutions marketing teams to influence their roadmap and create marketing collateral as means to support sales and business development with early customers' engagement, adding Customer/Market Intelligence, Technical Architectural trends, Competitors analysis, fighting guides in the specific segment.
Drive periodic opportunity reviews (funnel, DIN, revenue) with Sales and Product Lines (marketing and management), to reinforce the bond between the field and BU, leveraging the system knowledge, full power portfolio solution approach, to increase visibility into the customer opportunities, drive focus to new and key ones.
Report monthly opportunities progress, funnel increments in each of the regions of competence by Product Line, in the segment of focus Implement tactics in alignment with sales and local BD teams, to meet revenue and DIN targets defined together with the product lines.
Participate in promotion activities at customer, Sales event, Technical and Commercial Renesas Conferences and shows.
Travel domestic and abroad for 25% of the time.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field, MBA is a plus Proven track record of success in business development within the semiconductor industry, specifically in power products, with a minimum 10 years’ experience in business development and/or marketing.
Strong understanding of power management semiconductor ICs, AC/DC, DC/DC converters, Battery Management, Si/Ga N/Si C and other trending power architectures and technologies.
Experience working with key market segment of Data Infrastructure, Communication, Datacenters, Wireless and Wired Access, Edge and Core Networks, system knowledge, with deep understanding of block diagrams with details of components parts, being able to generate those and populate with power parts to address the entire application.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to forge strong relationships with customers and partners.
Fluency in English is a must, and of course local Taiwanese mother language is added advantage.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
