Job Description Mediatek is seeking seasoned computer architects to help explore innovations in machine learning hardware architecture and system architectures.
This position offers the opportunity to directly influence the future hardware roadmap of Mediatek AI accelerators.
New innovations in machine learning architecture will help enable the AI performance acceleration as well as improve the power and area efficiency of the AI accelerator.
You are expected to have knowledge in AI algorithms, and how they affect architectural design decisions.
The role also requires you to transform innovative ideas into practical proposals for future products, and vet the proposals via simulation and prototyping.
Prior publication in the AI technology and/or hardware designs is a plus.
You may be exposed to multiple hardware domains as needed: microarchitecture definition, simulator modeling, RTL prototyping, algorithm study, and workload investigation.
Requirement* Ph D in computer engineering or MS in computer engineering with 2+ years of work experience in computer/AI architecture* proven track record of delivering innovations in computer / AI architectural design* deep technical expertise and understanding of tradeoffs in performance, power, area, and complexity* strong team work and communication skills* strong hands-on coding skills
