Description :Join us and help put Wi-Fi® in everything from cell phones to TVs, and laptops to routers. Broadcom's Broadband Carrier Access team is seeking an IC design and verification engineer to work on our next generation Wi-Fi 8 medium access controller, physical layer and SoC integration. You will work on pre-silicon Verification on the MAC, PHY and SoC to support the higher bandwidths required by the new standard. Your primary job responsibility is to create verification infrastructure , create test plans and actually verify them in RTL and gate-level simulation. In this role you will also interact with the protocol, software, and systems teams at various phase of the design flow.Primary job is to architect verification environment and responsible for verification of 802.11 relevant design.Job RequirementsTypically requires a BS in EE/EECS with 9-12+ years of experience or an MS in EE/EECS with 6-9+ years of experienceExperience in production tape-outs of complex SoCs (preferably including wireless devices)Deep understanding of HVLs: System Verilog/OVM/UVM, RTL design experience (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog) and/or very strong OOB programming experience is also a plusExperience building verification environments for 802.11, Ethernet or other networking/communication protocols.Experience with functional coverage, and assertions and other formal techniques.Working knowledge of coding and scripting in Perl, Python, TCL, Shell, and C.Experience with logic simulators and debug tools from various EDA companiesGood command of EnglishSend your resume to meng-Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
