AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry.
As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Within AWS, Annapurna Labs develops the silicon used in our most advanced machine learning accelerator servers, utilizing cutting edge process nodes and massively scaled server clusters to provide the best hardware platform to customers for both inference and training workloads.
Annapurna Labs is seeking a semiconductor test engineer with a background in classic ATE platforms to create a clean running extremely low DPPM product-line forming the foundation to our servers.
As our final product is a server, not just the silicon, you will find yourself stretching beyond structural testing and incorporating a lot more mission profile testing, utilizing a variety of external controlling ICs, porting server management and customer run-time software, including the use of virtualized machines and specific microcontrollers found in the end application.
As such a curious mindset and an urge to learn system architecture will greatly benefit you in this role.
This position is based in Taipei and involves regular domestic and international travels (up to 25% of the time) to other locations in the region.
We are a nurturing and supporting group that will ensure you have access to all tools, code and mentorship needed to become effective in this exciting new way of working!Key job responsibilities- Supporting NPI engineering for production ramping up such as characterization, new test hardware release/qualification, reliability engineering, and documentation.- Daily hold lot disposition and monitoring yield trends to drive highest quality for mass production- Identify issues during high volume production such as thermal or electrical related issues, provide the solution and lead trouble shooting for delivery commitments.- Develop efficient automation scripts and tooling for efficient test datalog analysis, visualization etc.
- Subcontractor management for performance, efficiency, process flow, throughput, and quality enhancement.- Design, debug, and manage multi-platform test kit hardware and testers for probe, final test, and system level test.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related fields, or relevant work experiences- 3+ years of experience in C/C++ and/or Microsoft VBA/VBT and terminal shell environments- 3+ years on Advantest 93 K, Teradyne IGXL based testers or other system level testers- Familiar with ATE hardware and strong trouble shooting skill- Business level English and Chinese, both verbal and written PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Familiar with LUA, python, shell scripting- Compilers, generating SOs and DLLs from large code bases - Yield analysis tooling and automation scripting like JMP or Optimal Plus for efficient test log analysis and visualization- Production line handler equipment hands on experience- Change kit design experience, understanding of thermal and mechanical stress control
