We are looking for Senior Datacenter System Application Engineer in NVIDIA Taipei office.
NVIDIA is leading the way into the high-growth areas of High-Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Computer Gaming.
The company is pushing hard the technology in all areas.
What you’ll be doing: Work with customers to provide deep mechanical assistance in customer Enterprise server.
System/Rack/Cluster level mechanical architecture design proposal review/discussion.
Function as the mechanical contact and responsible for communicating with ODM/CM vendors and internal engineer team.
Failure analysis, troubleshooting, and provide technical risk analysis.
Overseas travel will be required if needed.
What we need to see: BS or MS degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree field.7+ years of Server/Data Center mechanical design experience.roficient in CAD tools such as Auto CAD, Autodesk Inventor, Solid Works, and Creo Parametric (formerly known as Pro/ENGINEER.).
Familiar with assembly and tolerance analysis.
Familiar with system/product level characterization and material testing.
Strong conceptualization and creative problem-solving skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and basic understanding of manufacturing processes in manufacturing processes.
Will be plus if understanding system cooling installation - Liquid-cooling, immersion cooling and others.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility in task assignments, and working under pressure.
Ways to stand out from the crowd: Strong oral & written communication skills (both English and Chinese).
Self-motivated and aggressive to learn.
