This is an opportunity to undertake a varied and challenging role in the East Asia Finance Business Partnering team.
The Assistant Finance Manager will have a key leadership position across finance and operational teams in the Geographical region.
You will support the leadership in the performance of their groups, providing high quality and timely financial advice, driving profitability and growth, leading on the budgeting and forecasting and supporting in new bids and projects and commercial decision making.
The Assistant Finance Manager will also have a key oversight of the group financial policies and procedures and work collaboratively with the other Finance Business Partners to raise standards, ensuring consistency in approach to achieving best practice delivery from the finance teams and timely reporting to support commercial decision making.
The Opportunity Partner closely with senior leaders and operational teams to provide clear financial insight, challenge assumptions, and support strategic and commercial decision‑making
Supports project performance management and delivery of business objectives across multiple jurisdictions
Deliver high‑quality financial analysis, project reviews, and cost control insights to drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth across portfolios and projects
Support new bids by providing financial input
Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders while improving finance processes, data quality, and reporting to enable better business outcomes
Perform end‑to‑end accounting operations including, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and month‑end closing
Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements, including VAT (GUI), withholding tax (WHT), second‑generation NHI, and corporate income tax filings
Challenge the status quo. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, standardization and simplification. Work in partnership with Shared Services Centre (SSC), Regional and Global Finance
Support budgeting, forecasting (ABP) ,and variance analysis in line with group planning cycles
Ensure adherence to internal controls, group policies, and applicable accounting standards (e.g. IFRS or group GAAP)

Is this role right for you? Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably within a sizable corporation or multinational company
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Big 4 experience and hands‑on exposure to APAC markets are an advantage
CPA or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA) preferred
Strong knowledge of Taiwan tax regulations, including VAT/GUI, WHT, 2nd NHI, and corporate income tax
Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multinational working environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with peers, and management
Team‑oriented, proactive, and solution‑focused with a positive “can‑do” attitude
Able to adapt to change and work in a fast‑paced, multinational environment
Willing to challenge existing processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
Solid technical knowledge of accounting, internal controls, tax, audit, and governance
Proficient in Microsoft Office and finance/accounting systems; Power BI or data analytics experience is a plus
Note: Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Accountant
