Creates & evaluates supply market facts and trends, and defines implications for sourcing strategies Provides a fact-based understanding of current supplier base and intelligence on contracts terms Negotiate and deliver savings to meet business requirements and Procurement objectives. Manages communications with suppliers and serves as key point of contact Help design and execute the RFI and RFQ and leads supplier negotiations Helps design & lead the implementation plan of the buy strategy, globally Works closely with global team to understand business /regional needs and develop sourcing strategy options Create leveraged agreements as appropriate Lead bid meetings Negotiate terms & conditions and create white paper agreements Resolve supplier performance issues Lead and enable effective resolution of emergency sourcing needs Calculate and report accomplishments in all appropriate systems Minimize single source situations by qualifying additional suppliers Understand business needs Qualifications:
BA/BS degree with preferred focus on Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Supply Chain Management Advanced Excel Skills and moderate experience in Microsoft Office products and Share Point 2-5 years of sourcing or supply chain management experience Six Sigma Green Belt desired Sourcing work experience preferred Commodity knowledge preferred Join our Talent Community
