Molex is seeking an experienced NX CAD Engineer to be responsible for creating and modifying 3 D models and technical drawings using Siemens NX software to support product development and engineering projects. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in CAD design, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.
What You Will Do
• Develop and update 3 D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using Siemens NX CAD software.
• Interpret engineering requirements and translate them into accurate CAD designs.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve design challenges and optimize manufacturability.
• Prepare and manage CAD files for prototyping, tooling, and production.
• Support design reviews and provide technical input on design feasibility.
• Ensure proper version control and data management within PLM systems.
• Assist in creating BOMs and supporting documentation for manufacturing.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
• Associate degree in Mechanical Design, CAD Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in CAD design, preferably with Siemens NX.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in 3 D modeling, drafting, and assembly design.
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
• Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM systems.
• Knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, and machined component design.
• Basic understanding of FEA or simulation tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
