Mercedes-Benz Taiwan is looking for an experienced Contract Attorney for a 6-month contract term. This role is ideal for those legal professionals who wish to bridge their career for a transition into a multinational company or a short-term resume filler on high impact projects

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and localize various types of documents, terms and conditions or privacy statements
• Conduct legal research on topics relevant to our business, products, and services
• Liaise with government authorities (Court, Prosecutor, Custom Police, IP Police etc.) and business partners on regulatory and compliance issues
• Coordinate and support dispute resolution
• Enable legal operation processes such as contract management or company chop application
• Provide legal support on ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Law from a reputable law school.
• Min. 3 years of working experience, preferably including experience as in-house legal counsel or work in a corporate environment
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Literacy in presentation deck preparation and AI-powered tools, such as Microsoft Power Point, Canva or Gamma etc.
• Admission to bar is highly preferred but not necessary
