The Local Division Director(LDD) is responsible for the application and execution of the divisional strategy and the steering of the local divisional team.
This position will drive the local revenue and profitability growth in line with the local budget and also ensures the sustainable development of its local competitive positioning for the key businesses of the division, while ensuring high quality customer support and service as source of profit in itself.
Travel Expectation : domestic : 30-40%, international : 10~20%
Main Responsibilities:
Operative leadership Contribute to the division business plan definition by sharing sales strategies proposals, business and intervention plan to expand and strengthen our presence in the focused markets
In agreement with the business head and regional sales head, implement national business plans to give practical value to the Division strategy and ensure the achievement of the expected marketing and sales objectives
Definition of the local sales budget, ensuring the achievement of the corresponding objectives
Accountable for the local division P& L including products, spare parts and services sales (if any).
Ensure and steer team members efficiency and continuous improvement (technical/ sales/ services)
Ensure timely and reliable reports, budget revision, deviation analysis reports and improvements suggestions
Supported by the local Managing Director, ensure compliance of commercial dealsAccountable for the execution and use of divisional tools, guidelines and communication strategy defined by the divisional Marketing/GDM
Team Management
Define the Area Sales Managers objectives and monitor outcome
Support local Managing Director in the talent and succession management processes (management and development review, succession planning activities)
Ensure sales force motivation and continuous competences development to enable accountability
Assure sales team members are always up to date of any product launches, understand and apply the go to market strategy defined by the business head
Provide guidance and support to strengthen sales network and customer portfolio, assisting and managing the most important sales negotiations. Ensure management and accuracy of sales tools (e.g. CRM etc.)
Sales & Marketing:
Manage and foster productive and professional relationships with specific key customer accounts;
Development of the short and long-term business development and customer portfolio in line with the divisional strategy
Visits customers / key accounts regularly and participate in trade exhibitions and strategic national events for the responsible division
Participates in Division Management Meetings, trainings, workshops etc.
Organizes and manages local division management meeting
Continuously supervises key customer projects and actively participates in them (e.g. negotiations, after sales support)
Accompanies local market launches of new products / services and local advertising concepts
Collect and consolidate market trends, customers and competitors behaviors, and any foreseeable changes in the local market
Contribute to business and product development by liaising with the relevant head of business or Marketing or R& D departments to raise outcome and ensure brand consistency
Optimize execution of timely and efficient customer support, services and satisfaction activity ; act as the escalation level in case of disagreement
Develop service business (if any) towards sales growth and profitability
Implement business and application experts (if any) in phase with the business heads’ orientations
Qualifications
Requirements :
Commercial experience with engineering technical background (minimum university, diploma or equivalent)
Multiple-years sales experience in the field of industry/mechatronics or instruments and negotiating skills
Knowledge of global and national markets dynamics
Experience of sales channel development and management
Experience of ASEAN country region sales
Previous experience in managing a sales team
Be familiar with Operating Systems (AS400/SAP) and Customer Management Systems (CRM)
Business-fluent English & Taiwanese (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel within the region
