People responsibility: NReport to: Associate Director and Head of ITRole Purpose-The is a Full Stack Engineering job which is responsible for supporting Equities IT team in Taiwan to deliver all Technology related services for Equities business.-The Full Stack Engineering job is also responsible for working across the Technology delivery lifecycle including inception, construction, testing, release and ongoing management of a product or service in a pod within a Technology team.

In this role, you will:-Cover office infrastructure/network support, including office hardware and software installation and upgrade, plus information automation where applicable.-Ensure all the regional and local systems (includes the Trading Systems, Market Data Systems, Back Office Systems, Accounting Systems, Research Applications, etc.) can function properly, plus IT projects implementation, change release support, and assistance of various testing for projects/changes/issues (performing market tests or pre-release tests on holidays if required)-Ensue all the server patching/agents and all the server environments are updated and comply with HSBC policy and cybersecurity requirement.-Implement LINUX & Windows servers / system administration and maintenance.-Support trading floor and user desktop.-Keep IT desk procedures manual and all the IT related documentations, such as hardware & software list, updated.-Handle IT billing where applicable.#TWE Qualifications -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields-Experience in technical support, troubleshooting, system setup & testing, architectural design, and system performance management-Experience in system and network implementation and maintenance, such as configuration of network switches and routers and configuration and administration of Linux Servers/Windows-Experience in network/firewall related project delivery, regular upgrade, change implementation and support-Knowledge in Equities Business and familiarity with SQL scripts and Oracle DBA support highly preferred-Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese Opening up a world of opportunity.※ Applicants passing resume screening will be notified for interview and next steps.
