Position: Telemedicine Ophthalmologist Location: Remote Contract Type: Independent Contractor Company: MHG Overview: MHG is looking for an Ophthalmologist to provide remote consultations for eye-related conditions.

This role involves offering expert advice and treatment plans for a range of ophthalmic issues via telemedicine.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct virtual consultations for eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

Provide guidance on the management of acute eye issues, such as infections or injuries.

Review and interpret diagnostic tests, including vision tests and imaging studies.

Develop treatment plans and provide follow-up care as needed.

Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare providers for comprehensive care.

Maintain accurate and secure patient records.

Qualifications: Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology.

Valid medical license and board certification in Ophthalmology.

Experience in telemedicine is advantageous.

Strong communication and diagnostic skills.

Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and electronic health records.
