Job Description: The Role: Entegris’ liquid filter and purifiers new product development team is a group of dynamic, innovative engineers collaborating to launch next generation material purity solutions into the high-tech semiconductor manufacturing industry.

We are seeking a creative, highly motivated individual to drive leading-edge product design and development of chemical processes used to pre-condition our next generation products.  This role is based out of Entegris’ Kaohsiung, TW facility, but collaborates heavily with the US based engineering team.  In this role you will: Develop new product designs to meet customer requirements and outperform competitors Design and characterize new chemical processes to meet or exceed new product cleanliness requirements Enable product launches at our new manufacturing facility Understand market and industry roadmaps to drive development of advanced technologies Contribute to Entegris’ intellectual property portfolio Perform DOE’s and statistical analysis to make data driven decisions Work with analytical teams to develop metrology to better predict product performance Provide technical leadership on development projects, drive integration of new products Support alpha/beta sample production of new products to win key growth opportunities Generate external data packages and technical papers specifying the performance of new products Perform administrative functions including project status reports, schedule and budget management in addition to other routine engineering documentation Mentor junior engineers and technicians Travel internationally to support product development initiatives ~5% Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 10+ years work-related technical experience  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field Experience in the following areas is preferred: Project leadership experience Clean room manufacturing Chemical separations, mass transfer, and extractions Fluid handling equipment, especially filtration and purification Assembly processes including plastic bonding, sealing, web handling Willing to be hands-on as needed in lab and clean room manufacturing environments Statistical analysis training preferred Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills Fluency in English language Flexibility on work schedule to collaborate with global team Your success will be measured by: Success for the role is not defined solely on the outcome of a project but rather a combination of the results and how these results were achieved.    Working effectively with global interdisciplinary project teams to develop and launch innovative products to market Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, adapt to changing priorities Striving to meet product/market launch windows and meet dynamic customer needs Creativity and innovation to identify and implement next generation solutions to drive product and process improvement Demonstrating strong fundamentals for the engineering process and decision making Adherence to Entegris’ PACE values:  People & Teamwork Accountability & Integrity Creativity & Innovation Dedication to Excellence
