About the job The Obesity Business Unit Director will drive the overall affiliate Obesity portfolio marketing and sales strategy and the programs that enhance our overall customer experience designed to ensure we effectively engage with HCPs, ensure that plans & tactics are prioritized to achieve desired goal.
The Obesity Business Unit Director is preferably having out of pocket sales/marketing experience, a cross-functional view (sales/ marketing/ commercial effectiveness), and is expected to act as a central franchise and company champion at all times.
Short, mid and long term Obesity marketing strategy and execution: build and execute brand strategy, portfolio strategy, marketing initiatives as well as life cycle management of the Obesity product portfolio of Novo Nordisk Taiwan.
Lead market development and market shaping strategy and initiatives.
Lead new product launch strategies and cross functional launch team, drive business case evaluations, create go-to-market-strategy to maximize the new product launch and portfolio value, conduct shape short and long-term sales forecasting of the affiliate Obesity sales organization: build and expand an ambitious, fast-growing Obesity sales team, develop the new territory, and maximize new product launch Qualifications Minimum Master's degree or equivalent, in life science, business administration or relevant Fluent in English and Chinese 10+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the areas of out of pocket marketing / sales.
Strategic thinking, yet competent operationally to execute marketing tactical plan Minimum 5 years of people leading experience with proven success track record Experience from a global pharmaceutical company outside Taiwan is an advantage Global vision & strategic thinking Bold decision making and act accountable Communication with impact & influence Proven history of good business acumen Excellent analytical skills, creativity and problem-solving skills Able to work in a dynamic ambitious environment and thrive within a high pace environment and work through ambiguity and navigate a matrix environment Excellent project management skills and able to get people aligned to a common goal Good leadership and effective to coach and mentor Organized, ability to prioritize and good at time management Good team player We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
