Job Summary:
Supermicro is currently seeking for a buyer with experience in computer component procurement. The primary responsibilities will be to forecast and execute procurement of CPUs and interface with Program Managers/Sales to support production and meeting customer delivery schedule. A successful candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual with great interpersonal and communicational skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan material, fulfill sales order and manage inventory.
Review FCST, issue POs, monitor/ shorten delivery time.
Suggest and promote the best configuration/ optimization to increase L10 business.
Support both Pre-sales and Post-sales as well as training to SMC PMs, Sales and FAEs.
Execute efficient cross-department communication, support team tasks, and align with company goals.
Maintain/improve relationship and technology collaborations between vendor and SMC.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5-year experience in CPU/GPU/AI NIC purchasing or PM.
2. Bachelor's degree or above.
3. Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
4. Detail-oriented, efficient, and accurately focused.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills
