Job Summary: Repair Engineer performs repair of defective boards of Supermicro products, identifies failure root cause of defective boards for production line yield rate improvement.

Besides, also join SMT/PCBA assembly line to early dig out production issue, to reduce failure rate and defective boards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1.

Apply first level review for IQC/ Production Line return fault board.2.

Performs rework, repair and implement ECO upgrade of Repair PCBA(Motherboards, backplane, riser card and ;3.

Base on ECO document performs ECO upgrade of ALL in stock PCBA 4.

Perform VI and function testing of motherboards, backplane, and AOCs when required so and under supervisions.

Support data collection of inspection result and defect repair.

Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: BSEE, MSEE with over 3~5 years of working experience on PCBA repair, PC/Server assembly and failure analysis Language Skills: English, Mandarin Good knowledge of computer/server operation and electronic components/devices Good knowledge of basic electronics circuit fundamentals Good soldering and desoldering skill Good knowledge of computer/server testing and inspection Good operation software skills in Windows and Linux Demonstrated skill in the electronic circuit analysis and troubleshooting.
