Responsibilities
Serve as a global contributor within the Facilities Capacity Planning System (FCPS) ecosystem, collaborating with global product owners and site stakeholders to support capacity modeling, scenario analysis, and data governance.
Own and drive the collection, classification, validation, and analysis of utilities and TSR data used to support facilities utility consumption management, capacity assessments, and facilities capital programs.
Partner with Global IT, FCPS administrators, and site Facilities teams to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of FCPS tools, templates, and workflows.
Ensure consistent execution of global FCPS / TUM / TSR business processes , including governance workflows, approvals, and data quality standards across all Micron sites.
Lead and support TUM generation, review, and capacity studies by coordinating with:
Global and site Facilities Engineering
Global Planning and Layout teams
Facilities Transfer Team (FTT)
CPEE and Industrial Engineering (IE)
to deliver accurate Facilities Utilities estimates for new layouts, tool installs, and technode scenarios .
Support scenario-based modeling within FCPS to assess impacts of tool adds, de-installs, configuration changes, and fab expansion initiatives on facility systems and utilities capacity.
Apply PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) closed-loop methodology to continuously improve FCPS data accuracy, TUM quality, TSR completeness, and overall program effectiveness.
Track and report program health, including achievements, wins, risks, issues, and corrective actions, to the program sponsor for communication to Global Facilities leadership and key partners.
Evaluate internal and external benchmarking data related to utilities modeling, prioritization, and facilities operations; identify improvement opportunities and drive standardization.
Drive Best Known Method (BKM) sharing across the global facilities network through aligned platforms, working with network peers and PAC managers.
Champion global alignment and data integrity within the Tools Utility Matrix (TUM) database and ensure consistency across sites and regions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and proficient in spoken Chinese.
Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Engineering from a recognized institution of higher learning, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5 years of Facilities Engineering, Utilities Engineering, or Equipment/Tool Management experience within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
2+ years of project and/or program management experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve complex, data-driven problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with simple coding, scripting, or data automation is a plus.
Proven ability to work effectively in a global, cross-cultural, and matrixed organization.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
