As a Process Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing chemical production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in chemical engineering and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

More specifical responsibilities Design and develop new chemical production processes, ensuring they meet company standards and customer requirements.

Optimize existing production processes to improve efficiency and quality.

Ensure production processes comply with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements and provide technical support.

Select and validate production equipment to ensure proper operation.

Participate in new production line development and production launch processes.

Identify and leverage new technologies and digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage. Who you are A Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in chemical production process design and optimization.

Preferred backgrounds for this role is Chemical Engineering, coupled with coding or OT related abilities.

Expertise in chemical reaction engineering, mass transfer, and heat transfer.

Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Familiarity with regulations and standards related to chemical production.

Proficiency in using process design and simulation software such as ASPEN, HYSYS, etc.

Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to identify problems and improvement opportunities from data.

Understanding of safety management systems, with the ability to identify and assess safety risks in production processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Cybersecurity and OT related knowledge (PLCs, SCADAs, Industrial Safety system) will be a plus.

Knowledge or experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) will be a plus.

Must be native Mandarin speaker with excellent English orally and written.

Capability to write technical documentation and reports.
