As a Silicon Photonics Design Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team developing next-generation photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for high-speed optical communication and sensing applications. You will work across design, simulation, testing, and validation to ensure cutting-edge performance and reliability.

The widespread growth of high speed and broadband systems introduces unique signal integrity issues. Our team is providing RF solutions with good signal integrity which is critical for high-speed transmission inter & intra data center.
What You Will Do
Design and optimize silicon photonic devices and circuits.
Perform optical simulations using industry-standard tools (Lumerical, Ansys, Photon Design).
Develop PIC layouts and ensure compliance with design rules.
Collaborating with process development leader to define fabrication specification and tolerances.
Plan and execute testing and validation of photonic devices and PICs, including optical and electrical characterization.
Analyze test data, correlate with design models, and implement design improvements to enhance performance and yield.
Develop automated test scripts and data analysis workflows for validation.
Contribute to design automation and PDK development for photonic components. - Document design specifications and maintain version control of design files.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
M. S. or Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related field.
Hands-on experience in silicon photonics design and simulation.
Familiarity with optical communication systems and photonic device physics.
Proficiency in simulation tools (Lumerical, Ansys, Photon Design) and layout tools (Cadence, Klayout).
Experience with optical and electrical testing of photonic devices and PICs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
Knowledge of CMOS-compatible fabrication processes.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis.
Experience with lab instrumentation (e.g., optical spectrum analyzers, high-speed oscilloscopes, probe stations).
Contributions to PDK development or design automation tools.
