Are you a Taiwanese Mandarin speaker with experience in translation and a passion for education? We are seeking speakers of Taiwanese Mandarin with expertise in technical translation to improve the quality of our client’s speech-to-speech translation software (English<> Taiwanese Mandarin).

Description of possible tasks: Identify sources for domain-relevant text data in Taiwanese Mandarin Review and refine automated translations and identify patterns of errors Leverage domain-specific experience to enhance the relevance and accuracy of translations Provide feedback on quality and performance of translation models Native speaker of Taiwanese Mandarin Military experience (ideally recent)Strong familiarity with a broad range of military terminology High level of English proficiency Experience communicating across language barriers Available 15-20 hours per week for at least 2 months (starting early/mid-December 2024)Experience in translation/interpreting preferred If you meet the requirements and are interested in this unique opportunity, please apply immediately.
